Custom Color Palette

Are you ready for a weirdly technical and almost totally useless task? YOU BET YOU ARE!

Today we’re going to take those wonderful branding guidelines and add a custom color palette to our computer. Then you can pull them up from any app!

(We’ve taken the liberty of naming the custom colors.)

1. Download the Sandwich.clr file.

2. Unzip the file, and drag Sandwich.clr into home/library/colors/

Q: What if I don’t see a Library folder?
A: Click on “Go” in the Menu Bar and hold down the option button!

3. That’s basically it!!!

But let’s see it in action… open Mail and start a new email message. Then click on the little black box that opens your color options and choose “Show colors…”

4. Pick the palettes icon, then choose Sandwich from the dropdown:

Now you have all the company colors at your fingertips, which makes it easy to customize your email signature:
